Linseed and Almond Bread

Ingredients

  • 100g ground almonds
  • 100g linseeds
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 large eggs or 5 small
  • ¼ cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Grind the linseeds in your Nutribullet or in a grinder to release the healthy fats. For this recipe I used Golden Linseeds – also known as flax seeds.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
  3. Pour into a 2 pound lined loaf tin.
  4. Cook in the oven at 180 degrees for 50 minutes.
  5. Cool on a wire tray.
  6. Enjoy with real butter and a cuppa green tea
